In a picture posted on Instagram on Friday, Zac Efron can be seen pumping his fist in the air like John Bender at the conclusion of the movie "The Breakfast Club" in front of Salt Lake East High School, where "High School Musical" was filmed.

With a fist emoji, Efron added the phrase, "Don't you... Forget About Me," which was also a reference to the song played at the conclusion of "The Breakfast Club."
Efron became well-known for his role as Troy Bolton in the "High School Musical" movies. Following the 2008 release of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," the actor went on to star in box office successes including "The Greatest Showman" and the "Neighbors" movies.

Although the original "High School Musical" cast, which also includes Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Ashley Tisdale, and Lucas Grabeel, has not yet come together for a revival of the blockbuster movies, a spinoff starring Olivia Rodrigo called "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" is returning to Disney+ with a third season. The third season, starring Bleu, JoJo Siwa, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, will debut on the streaming service on July 27.
